In addition to the activities mentioned above, tinsmithing contains many others! The duties of a tinsmith also include sawing, rolling, cutting, straightening or bending elements, drilling. What’s more – of course, he uses a sheet metal machine, which is also not easy at all! He needs to know how to solder, weld, thread. Have a lot of strength, but also a lot of precision! 

Tinsmithing is also associated with the fact that the person who deals with it must show great divisibility of attention, perceptiveness and reflexes. The tinsmith must be able to concentrate properly, it must be very accurate and physically durable. Add to this the fact that it is not a job for everyone. Certain disadvantages, such as weaker eyesight, lack of concentration skills, allergies or diabetes, exclude us from our profession! 

Why is it worth becoming a tinsmith? 

Contrary to what we wrote, this tinsmith is a very grateful job! What’s more – very desirable. The market is not filled with sensational professionals, so those who fulfill their duties fantastically cannot get rid of orders! 

Sheet metal work is a job that gives you the feeling of creating, repairing something. Often, a tinsmith in tandem with a painter can save a vehicle that most of us would have for scrapping. We like to say that tinsmithing and varnishing are almost artistic professions. Working as a tinsmith has a lot of difficulties, but it’s really worth it!
